Hectic Life

Form 5 life has begun one month and a week already. January has passed, now comes February. I am so sorry that I've been neglecting this blog. So sorry to those who keep coming back, only to find that it's the same post. Form 5 has taken its toll on me. Mum has banned me from frequent internet usage, only to do assignments and stuff. School life isn't that good either. Our class is being tested. I do hope that we, as the members of 5 Science 1 (2010) will be able to unite as one and walk though this problem. Today is Jac's birthday! My best friend. =] And is like a sister to me. Of course, elder one. Haha. A year older, a year wiser, leng lui! =D Have a blessed birthday! ^^ Love you.

How's your life, readers? For Marians, CNY holidays are coming up, followed by Sports Day, then, Mid-Term exams. Die, haven't revised yet. Haha. =D

Cindy signs off. Her eyes are tired.

???

I was saddened by a heart-breaking news. I still couldn't believe my ears up to this very moment. Getting close with a girl, people call me lesbian. Getting close with a guy, people call me flirting. What should I do then? Tell me. Right, I know. Just sit down and shut up. I'll leave. Somebody, take me away. =(

New Year's Resolution

Yeah, you heard it. The fireworks. Signifying the end of 2009, and the beginning of 2010. Oh, how time really flies! And I can't believe I'm sixteen ++, going to sexy seventeen! Uhuh... And seventeen means there's SPM to sit for, that's my last year in high school. Oh, no! [Okay, this is so random now] I am supposed to be blabbing with Teresa and Amanda as well as Jac in class about random topics, not really focusing on studies [XP] and put on the specs and switch to nerd mode. Hehe, guess it's now time to focus and study real hard for SPM? Hehe, I'm not bragging but PMR is nothing compared to SPM. XP If you don't study for PMR, you can at least get a pass. But, SPM? Sorry, no such thing as pass if you don't even flip your textbooks.

So, back to the topic. New Year. The moment the clock strikes twelve just now, I receive tons of wishes from friends. Thanks, people! =]

And so, with new year coming, I need to have a new year's resolution too. [I decided to blog about this after I read the e-mail sent by GotQuestions. Hmm.

These are suggested by GotQuestions and I pretty agree with it. =]

1. Pray to the Lord for wisdom in regards to what resolutions, if any, He would have me make
2. Pray for wisdom as to how to fulfill the goals God gives me
3. Rely on God's strength to help me
4. Don't be discouraged with occasional failures, instead allow them to encourage me further
5. Try not to be proud or vain, but give God the glory.

To-do list for 2010:

1. Pay more attention in class, less talking. XP [I doubt so but I'll try]
2. Balance out between time to study, play, rest, tuition etc. [It's gonna be a tight schedule for me]
3. LESS procrastinating. [I highly doubt so!!! 8D]
4. Like what Magdelina said, don't study last minute. [It never works. Hehe.]
5. More exercise! [I've gained weight during the holidays. More fats. =S]
6. Be more hardworking. [=.= I am lazzyyy...]
7. Less online. [Facebook!!]
~All for the sake of SPM. SPM takes away my freedom and time. =.= ~

I guess that's all. More to be added if I could think of any. But at the moment, mind is blank. =.= I am supposed to be asleep by now but evil, cruel, mean mosquitoes woke me up and thus, I couldn't sleep anymore! ==!

Big thanks to Jac who help me adapt to the waking-up-in-the-morning-and-sleep-at-night system. Haha. During the holidays, I am the complete opposite of people. I slept when people were getting ready to go to work and I stay awaked when people were getting ready to go to bed. Oh well. XP

So, what about you readers? Did you have fun during the holidays? What are your New Year's resolutions? Enjoy the New Year. Have a nice day. Peepo peepo... Going to do some work before finally peng to sleep. =D Happy New Year, peeps!

Merry Christmas! =]

Christmas. It's here again! We celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December every year. Well, what is Christmas to you? Christmas isn't all about food, turkey, presents [from Uncle V] but Christmas is all about Jesus! He came to earth more than 2000 years ago to save God's children who sinned. How great, how awesome is He! So, let's make this Christmas even more meaningful by reflecting on the real meaning of Christmas. What's Christmas to you? Think about it again. =]

Here, I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY, MERRY and WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS! Especially to dear family, friends, relatives, brothers and sisters in Christ and of course, to you, dear readers! ^^ May this Christmas touches your heart and let you to experience the real meaning of Christmas.

Carolling Day 1

18th of December 2009 marked the first day of the St. Peter's Church Christmas Children Carolling House-to-house. I was to follow Uncle Keith's car with Amanda, Rebecca, Jacob, Tiffany and Melissa. We went to a few houses. Alyssa's house was the first, followed by Tiffany's grandmother's house, then Aunty Beatrix's house and lastly by two houses in Green Heights. My, my, the food served was great. I had surely gained weight from the food I ate. Fat liao lorh... Anyway, the true meaning of Christmas isn't food, turkey nor presents but it's the birth of our Saviour, Jesus. We had fun especially at the last house. Melissa and I joked and disturbed Winnie and Reuben. Haha. It was a hilarious sight.

Me: Your lao po [wife] fell down lorh.
Reuben: Sorry lorh.

The funny thing here was Reuben said "Sorry lorh" in a act cute way. Haha.

We also teased Winnie and passed her half-drank drink to Reuben. I didn't know that he finished it until Winnie told me! Haha!

Anyway, we received presents from the last two houses. One was a bag of goodies while another was a t-shirt. Hmm. Later I have Musical Evening. I'm afraid I will mess it up! =( And after that, I have GB Annual Gathering. Hehe. Pray for me, people and hope I do well in my Musical Evening. =]

Here are four pictures taken at Aunty Beatrix's house. =]

I Am Back!

Sematan trip was a total blast! =D It was fun eventhough it was a 2-days-1-night stay at Palm Beach Resort, Sematan. We were to assembled at Siang Siang Corner, MJC before taking off with our respective transports to our destination.

Bro and I were bored so we borrowed Quoridor from Uncle Keith. Bro won most of the times. Grr.

Uncle Keith.

Me meddling with Uncle Keith's DSLR.

Andrew, Winnie, bro and I followed Uncle Fred's car. Upon reaching, I was relieved. Aah, the fresh nature smell. Anyway, Uncle Keith had actually arranged which room were we supposed to stay but somehow it got scrambled up, so yeah, we chose where would we want to stay. Winnie, Karen, Sharon and I stayed in F4, while bro, Andrew and the rest stayed in F2. The rest of the girls stayed in F5 while the rest of the boys stayed in F3.

We had our activities planned by Uncle Keith: sandcastles building, volleyball, snatch-the-flags-and-you-win game as well as lucky guess game. =D

First was the sandcastles building game. We were divided into 2 groups. The group which built the tallest sandcastles win. Eventually, my group won. But, we lost at the snatch-the-flags-and-you-win game. Haha. It was really really tiring yet fun. =D Then, we had a short break. After that, we returned to the beach and played the lucky guess game. The wind was blowing so strong that time and we were all cold. With some of us being splashed with water over the lucky guess, it made them even colder. Lucky me who wasn't splashed by the water. Then, it rained heavily. Winnie, Uncle Keith and I managed to snap a photo under the rain. It was fun fun FUN! I had never played under the rain before lol. *sakai*

Winnie and I under the rain.

Uncle Keith joined us. XP

After that, we went back to our room to bath and change. Then, at night, we had barbeque and buffet. =D I was attracted at the bicycles I saw at the reception counter. People could rent them. Moreover, there were bicycles which two people could sit. =D Funn. After dinner, the youths and Uncle Keith went to the beach to take night shots! It was pretty cool! [Photos on Facebook] Around 12 a.m., people were not showing any signs that they were going to sleep. I guess among all those who were there, I was the earliest to sleep. Oh well, tired mah...

The next day, some of us woke up early to watch the sunrise. Cool mans! Camwhored like crazy. After breakfast, Andrew, Winnie and I rented bicycles and went off cycling. We had volleyball game before we went swimming. =D I had sunburnt. Very bad sunburns. =.= Swimming was fun. It was fun going against the waves. The best part was when all of us stood hand-in-hand while waiting for the waves to sweep us away. But, we were holding onto each other strongly and the waves couldn't push us back. XP

The wind that blew strongly sure was nice.

Then, we bathed and camwhored around. =D

Came the saddest part of all, we had to leave. Bye bye, Sematan. I will be back! =D

Sweet Escape

I sure want to escape from the life in town to this kind of place. It's soothing to the soul. It calms the mind. It relaxes the body. Oh, a sweet escape. =]

Chinatown in Kuching

My family and I were just about to go for dinner a while ago. Dad was suggesting Borneo Seafood which was located in Tabuan Laru. Mum on the other hand, had a different opinion. She wanted to go to Premier 101. Hmm, okay then. When we had parked our car, we went to find a coffee shop to have dinner. And my, the back part of Premier 101 was like Chinatown. It's so... China-ish. Along a row of shops, there were about 5-6 coffee shops. Each of them packed with homo sapiens who were hunting for food to fill in their belly. It's only...

7.40 p.m. and all of the food were finished. E.g. chicken curry, salad chicken rice etc. If food was available, need to wait quite long. Hmm... In the end, Mum ordered fried kueh tiao and after finishing that, all four of us moved to another coffee shop in search for food.

Mum and her fried kueh tiao and sugarcane juice.

Dad shared with Mum.

At the next coffee shop.
I didn't manage to take the entire view of the crowd since it was drizzling and I didn't want my N86 to spoil. XP

We waited for our food - curry chicken and pork leg. Three bowls of rice for me, Dad and Bro.

Mum and bro.
Mum ate... this!

Big bowl right? Guess how much?

RM4.
In the end, Mum asked Dad for help to finish that bowl of mee. Hehe. It was huge, really!

Dad and bro enjoying pork leg and curry chicken.
In the end, we only had meat for dinner. Carnivorous! XP

Haha.

I'm anticipating!

Folks, 23 more hours to go and I'm off to Sematan with fellow church friends and members. Oh I am so excited! It has been quite a while since I last set my eyes on beach and the sea. Sematan, wait for me! Here I come! =]
